i.e. You pay on 1st on January. On the 5th of January you request to cancel. You will then make 1 final payment on 1st February, and your membership will expire on 28th February.

If lessons are cancelled due to circumstances outside of our control including but not limited to pool contaminations, staff illness, pool plant failure you will be provided class credits to book in additional lessons.

General

Lessons start from 4 months.

All lessons must be paid for in advance.

No jewellery should be worn for health and safety reasons. Ear studs are permitted but these should be covered with small plasters.

The use of mobile telephones or cameras on poolside is strictly prohibited.

Our changing rooms are split into male & female facilities. The changing room used by the parent/guardian is dictated by the gender of the parent i.e. a Father would use the male changing rooms with his son/daughter and a Mother would use the female changing rooms with her son/daughter. There are 2 private changing facilities within each changing room that can be used at the parent/child’s discretion.

Parents must remain on site for the duration of their child’s swimming lesson.

No 2-piece costumes, 1-piece costumes to be worn in all lessons.

All our teaching staff are ASA qualified, hold first aid qualifications and appropriate insurance.

Parents must leave poolside during the lesson, and have the option of sitting in our outside seating area, car park, or The Venue upstairs (food and/or a beverage must be purchased due to this being a separate business) unless prior arrangement has been made in writing in advance due to illness/ medical conditions.

Booking Terms

Children progress at different speeds. You will be informed when your child is ready to move to the next level after the class and via email. You can also see your child’s progress within the Home Portal website, which shows what areas of their current level still need to be completed to progress.

We operate a no refund policy on group lessons once they have been booked. However, if your child has an unforeseen medical problem and is unable to attend a significant number of lessons then please contact us.

Our 1-1 lessons operate the same no refund policy as group sessions. Once you have secured a weekly slot, this is on-going and should you be unable to attend the lesson it will be lost, and no credit will be given. This is due to our minimal availability for sessions and waiting list, along with fixed pool time availability for the Swim Academy.

Sessions will not be credited for holidays, short term illness etc.

Bookings can be permanently transferred to different days/times where spaces are available.

Liscombe Swim Academy has the right to cancel lessons where facilities become unavailable (e.g. pool failure/closure) and credits will be provided for these lessons.

Please note that while we make every effort to ensure continuity of instructors, we cannot guarantee that you will have the same instructor each lesson.

If your child has been placed on a waiting list, you will be contacted when a place becomes available.

Making payment for lessons indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Our lessons are continuous with a 2-week break at Christmas. There is no other planned lesson breaks and during bank holidays classes will go ahead as normal.

Non-payment/cancellation of direct debits will result in your child being removed from the lessons. Once removed, this slot will be filled, so please ensure payments are kept up to date.
